ai???Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.ai??? Facts are imperative regardless of the genre. If you are writing fantasy or science-fiction, your content will need to be based on some sort of facts. In order to create a realistic context, a sound quantity of knowledge is required. After attaining the facts, you can twist and alter them as much as youai??i??d like, maintaining a ai???matter-of-factai??i?? world for your story.
ai???Use the right word, not its second cousin.ai??? Have you ever read a sentence that doesnai??i??t sound correct? You re-read it and it still seems out of place in relation to the context of the sentence? Storyline aside, proficient writing needs to flow, words need to be strung together carefully, and similarly, sentences need to be strung into paragraphs. If you can create content that flows, you will deter interrupting the reader mid-sentence.
ai???As to the Adjective: when in doubt, strike it out.ai??? Weai??i??re all aware that an adjective is used to modify a noun. Consider this sentence:
ai???The beautiful Rogaine cost uk moon was glowing tonight; it cast a radiant, yellow, lucent shadow across the firm, rigid lines around me.ai???
Although this would be a lame sentence without all the adjectives, there is no need for all the adjectives. Do we really need to share with our readers that it cast a radiant, yellow, lucent shadow Order zestril medication when we have already indicated that the moon was glowing? Likewise, is it necessary to use the words firm and rigid when we are talking about lines? We can erase most of the adjectives to make for an easier read:
ai???The beautiful moon was glowing tonight; it cast a shadow across Antivert medication over the counter the lines around me.ai???
ai???You need not expect to get your book right the first time. Go to work and revamp or rewrite it. God only exhibits his thunder and lightning at intervals, and so they always command attention. These are God’s adjectives. You thunder and lightning too much; the reader ceases to get under the bed, by and by.ai??? What Twain is trying to convey here is that, as a writer, you should persist ai??i?? never give up after the first attempt. If thunder and lightning were constant, people will lose interest in a flash (no pun intended). You should always take the time to re-read your work in order to make a bigger clap of thunder and a more vivid bolt of lightning.
